Our 2010 Education Programme. Who said school can't be jam-packed with thrills? Not us!
When students are enjoying a lesson it shows. It shows in their attention levels, in the effort they put in and the results they achieve. The Education Programme at THORPE PARK offers maximum educational value through unique and stimulating learning experiences.
Working in collaboration with practicing teachers and educational advisers, we have created a programme of events and activities for pupils and students of Key Stages 3 through to 5, with just the right mix of learning and thrills.

Workshops & Events
Thrilling Workshops
THORPE PARK is the perfect case study to inspire your students and bring the national curriculum to life. We offer 45 minute workshops on a range of subjects all curriculum linked and delivered by our expert Education Facilitator.
Workshops are available for school trips during term time only, excluding weekends and bank holidays and cost an additional £1.25 per student.

Events
BUSINESS OF LEISURE 2010 (Applied GCSE & A-Level)
20th September – 1st October 2010
Only £14.75 per student!
Specially designed for Business of Leisure and Tourism students, this event features inspiring presentations from actual THORPE PARK business experts, who will let your students in on all the trade secrets in an industry where fun is a serious business.
This event features 3 workshops to choose from and features guest speakers from the team behind THORPE PARK’s success.
THORPE PARK as a Business (10.45am, 1.45pm)
A business like THORPE PARK covers many different 'business areas', and this interactive workshop highlights the importance of each department. It also explains the recruitment process and the importance of structure within a successful leisure company.
Marketing and Promotions (9.45am, 2.45pm)
In 2008/09 we grabbed the attention of a thrill-seeking audience with the help of a ‘bloodcurdling’ marketing campaign for SAW – The Ride. Let your students learn about all the different marketing techniques applied to maximise sales and create excitement.
Customer Service and Human Resources (11.45am, 3.45pm)
One team - over two million customers. Discover the training and techniques we use to keep our customers satisfied and our staff motivated.

Q. What are the medical provisions on-site?
A. We have a fully manned medical centre located in the lower level of Atlantis.
Q. How do I report lost property?
A. Any item lost on the day report or Guest Services, or after your visit contact guest services on 01932 577123.
Q. What are the height restrictions for the rides?
A. Each ride has its own height restrictions ranging from 0.9m to 1.4m minimum.
Q. Are there lockers available for students to place their belongings?
A. Yes, these can be located in the lower level of Atlantis.
