The spinning Samurai ride was designed and built by Mondial Fair Attractions, a Dutch company renowned for their expert flat and wheel theme park rides.

Introduced to THORPE PARK in 1999 after being relocated from Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo, Samurai was the first ride of its kind to grace a UK theme Park. Samurai is 18m (59ft) high, and features six arms which rotate riders through a full 360°.

Samurai rides last two minutes, with five passengers accommodated per arm – meaning more than 500 riders per hour can feel the full force of this extreme thrill ride!

WHO CAN GO ON THE SAMURAI RIDE?

To ride Samurai at THORPE PARK, guests must be a minimum of 1.4m tall, and chest and size restrictions also apply. For safety reasons guests must be properly secured in the seat, which may not be possible for some guests with larger torso or thigh measurements.

If you're over 6'4'' tall or have a torso broader than 51'', please try the test seat provided.
