Ready, set, gehen! NEW for 2020, THORPE PARK Resort has announced the launch of an Oktoberfest event like no other.

Featuring all your Thorpe Park favourites with a brilliantly Bavarian boost, the resort like no other is inviting guests to dust off their lederhosen, tuck into classic German delights and chill out with a cold Stein of traditional Oktoberfest beer, all whilst soaking up the best of Bavaria on the Island.

Running from the 7th September to the 4th October, Thorpe Park’s Oktoberfest is live for a limited time only, so get set to yodel if you want to go faster on some of Europe’s most thrilling rides!

Guests visiting the Resort for the Oktoberfest celebrations can expect:

  • Brilliant Bavarian ride enhancements across Stealth, Detonator, Nemesis Inferno, Rumba Rapids and more…
  • Delicious Oktoberfest food and drink offerings, including currywurst pizza, pretzels, and traditional beer
  • Reusable Oktoberfest branded Steins
  • Oktoberfest branded t-shirt, mugs, and pin badge available to purchase on site
  • A fun Oktoberfest soundtrack
  • Additional German breakfast offering for those staying at Thorpe Shark Cabins

And for guests visiting on Fridays or Saturdays, there will even be a roaming Oompah band on site to deliver the best of Bavarian beats!

With intense coaster action and exhilarating experiences, the Resort is a must-visit for those looking to embark on an incredible, adrenaline-fuelled adventure with friends and family.  Get hearts racing with excitement once again as you speed, twist, sweep and soar on some of Europe’s most thrilling coasters!

Awarded the VisitEngland ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry charter mark, meaning Thorpe Park meets the Government and public health guidance on COVID-19 and that all the required health and safety processes are in place to safely reopen, guests are now able to safely enjoy thrilling rides, attractions and live experiences with stringent safety measures in place, including limited capacity and pre-booked ticket entry only.

Temperature checks for all guests upon arrival, clear markers and signs in place to allow for social distancing within all queues- from the entrance to rides, toilets and dining- all guests will be easily able to keep a safe distance from one another.  The capacity limits across the Resort have also been reduced to help maximise space available for social distancing, and guests will all be encouraged to use cards rather than cash.  Hand sanitising stations are also located throughout the Resort.

So, raise a Stein, don’t forget your mask[i], and join us as we celebrate an Oktoberfest like no other!

Bus: On open days a shuttle bus runs between Staines Station and Thorpe Park Resort every 15 minutes. Alternatively, both the 950 and 951 buses get you right up to the gates.
