THORPE PARK - PARK REGULATIONS

Thorpe Park Operations Limited* ("Thorpe"/"we") together with its owner, Merlin Entertainments Group, places great importance on the safety of its visitors and endeavours to ensure that the high standards set by Thorpe are complied with by all persons in the park ("the Park"). We are only prepared to allow entry to the Park to those visitors who are willing to comply with the Park regulations set out below.

Please note that whilst in and about the Park, the terms and conditions of purchasing your ticket also apply and must be adhered to save for annual pass holders, where the terms and conditions for annual passes shall apply.

We are sure that you will wish to assist Thorpe in ensuring the Park and facilities therein remain a safe place in which to enjoy a fun and exciting experience. To assist in ensuring your safety, CCTV is in operation throughout the Park.

1. All persons entering the Park are admitted subject to the following Park regulations. Any person who does not comply with these regulations may be removed from the Park by either Thorpe personnel or police officers. This is without prejudice to any claim that Thorpe may have against such a person or persons arising out of their actions. Whilst inside the Park all visitors must comply with any instructions given to them by Thorpe personnel or police officers.
1.1 In the interests of the public and the health and safety of its visitors, Thorpe reserves the right to refuse entry to the Park in the event that the capacity for visitors at the Park is reached and/or exceeded.
1.2 Thorpe reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse admission to the Park, ban from entry to the Park, or remove from the Park without right to refund any person who:
1.2.1 acts in an inappropriate and/or undesirable manner whilst travelling to the Park whether by bus, coach or other means, where such behaviour has been reported to Thorpe;
1.2.2 has been convicted of a criminal offence, which, in the opinion of Thorpe, is likely to affect the safety and/or enjoyment of other visitors or staff;
1.2.3 has behaved in, or in the vicinity of, the Park in a manner which, in the opinion of Thorpe, has, or is likely to, affect the safety and enjoyment of other visitors or staff;
1.2.4 uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace;
1.2.5 has previously acted in any manner which has caused any other attraction within the Merlin Entertainments Group to report that individual to Thorpe;
If the person referred to in regulation 1.2 is a member of a group, then such group of individuals may also, at the Park manager's discretion be denied entry to the Park or escorted from the Park without right to refund. For the avoidance of any doubt, pre-booked tickets are non-refundable in the event that admission is refused or relinquished for any reason(s) referred to above.
2. All persons entering the Park must pay for admission or hold a valid admission ticket.
2.1 If re-entry into the Park is required, you must obtain an appropriate handstamp, before exiting the Park which must be shown at the time of re-entry to gain access to the Park. Admission tickets must be retained at all times and submitted for inspection if required by Security or Thorpe personnel. Any person attempting to gain admission to the Park or being found inside the Park without a valid ticket may be ejected from the Park.
2.2 All tickets are non-transferable and cannot be re-sold without prior permission of Thorpe. If Thorpe reasonably believes that a ticket has been resold without such consent or purchased from an unauthorised source, the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the Park without refund or payment of compensation. Any admission tickets, or discount vouchers, purchased or obtained from ticket touts will not be valid and the holder will be refused entry or ejected from the Park without payment of compensation. All admission prices are subject to change.
2.3 Admission tickets are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and void if altered. They are not valid for special events that require a separate admission charge.
2.4 Admission tickets will only be exchanged or refunded if Thorpe, in its absolute discretion, chooses to do so.
3. No child or children under the age of 12 will be admitted to the Park unless they are accompanied by an adult, who shall be 18 years or over and such child or children whilst in the Park must remain under the control or supervision of an adult at all times.
3.1 Thorpe, in its absolute discretion, may increase the age restriction for children referred to in regulation 3 above on an individual basis for the requirement of accompaniment by an adult should it be deemed necessary in the interests of safety and security
4. Pets or animals of any nature are expressly prohibited in the Park (except for guide dogs, hearing dogs and registered assistance dogs) without the express prior permission of Thorpe.
4.1 Thorpe reserves the right to contact any relevant authority to make and be responsible for any decision in relation to any animals referred to in regulation 4 above that are left unsupervised or that are found to be in distress
5. To prevent offensive weapons, dangerous articles and illegal substances from being taken into the Park, visitors are admitted to the Park subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will give their consent to undergo an outerclothing search and/or have their bags and belongings checked. Any refusal to comply with this request will result in being denied entry and/or being escorted from the Park without the right to refund. It is prohibited to bring into the Park any weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles or other articles, which may cause injury. The throwing of any article which could cause injury or annoyance is strictly prohibited.
5.1 Any person found to be in possession of an article deemed to be offensive or dangerous will be immediately escorted from the Park without the right to refund and be open to prosecution
5.2 If the person referred to in regulation 5.1 is a member of a group, then such group of individuals may also, at the Park’s discretion be denied entry or escorted from the Park without the right to refund
6. The consumption of intoxicating liquor is permitted only in authorised places within the Park. Accordingly, intoxicating liquor may not be taken into the Park except with the express permission of Thorpe and any persons found possessing alcohol, or who appear to be under the influence of alcohol may be refused admission to the Park or escorted from the Park without right to refund.
6.1 The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and any persons found possessing, using or who appear to be under the influence of illegal substances will be refused admission or escorted from the Park without right to refund.
6.2 If the person referred to in regulation 6.1 is a member of a group, then such group of individuals may also, at the Park manager's discretion be denied entry or escorted from the Park without right to refund.
7. Thorpe will endeavour to ensure that as many rides and attractions as possible are available for use by visitors. However, Thorpe reserves the right, without prior notice and without refund or compensation to close and/or change the programme of rides and attractions and/or the Park's operating hours. Thorpe in its absolute discretion reserves the right without refund or compensation to close the whole or any part of the Park at any time or to restrict the number of persons having access to the Park due to capacity, inclement, weather or special events, to ensure safety, security or order, or if Thorpe considers the circumstances so require
8. All rides, attractions, amusements, transport systems and other facilities must only be used in accordance with the operator’s instructions.
9. Unnecessary noise, (such as that from the use of radio sets, mobile phones, video cameras and other electrical equipment) or any behaviour likely to cause annoyance to other visitors or confusion of any kind is not permitted in any part of the Park.
10. Climbing or standing upon fences, barriers, walls, safety fences, rock arrangements, ride structures, exhibits or buildings is strictly prohibited. Thorpe reserves the right to prosecute any person found damaging or defacing any part of the grounds, fences, barriers, walls, ride structures, exhibits, fabrics or buildings and to initiate legal proceedings if appropriate.
11. Only persons authorised by Thorpe are permitted to sell or offer for sale any items to visitors within the Park.
12. Motor homes, camper vans, caravans or any other vehicle of a similar nature are not permitted anywhere within the Park unless express prior permission in writing has been given by a senior member of the Park. This permission in its original form will need to be produced prior to entry to the Park. Photocopies will not be accepted.
12.1 No vehicles are permitted to remain in the Park outside the Park’s normal operating hours without the prior express permission of the security duty manager, who retains absolute discretion as to whether such permission is granted.
12.2 Any person or vehicle found in breach of regulation 12.1 will be deemed to be trespassing and appropriate action will be taken which may include instigating legal proceedings and/or the clamping and/or the removal of vehicles.
13. Thorpe accepts no responsibility for any loss and or damage arising (including that which might arise as a result of any breach of contract) including any distress, inconvenience or anxiety caused during the course of any ride or exhibit undertaken and/or during evacuation from such a ride or exhibit in the event of breakdown, fire or security precaution.
14. From time to time Thorpe or other authorised parties carry out photography and/or video recording at the Park which may feature visitors. By accepting these regulations, you agree that Thorpe or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Thorpe or such authorised party (as the case may be).
15. By accepting these regulations, you acknowledge that Thorpe may on demand have access to photographs taken and video footage captured by visitors to the Park and request that certain photographs and/or footage are deleted if they are or are deemed to be offensive to other visitors and/or staff. By accepting these regulations you agree not to intentionally photograph and/or capture video footage of any individual without that person’s permission and must adhere to all photography/filming restrictions in place from time to time whilst within the Park.
16. Smoking is strictly prohibited in buildings, on rides and in queues at the Park.
17. Visitors are requested to leave all pushchairs and / or large luggage items at the designated area. Thorpe take no responsibility for any loss or damage to such belongings.
17.1 All items, belongings and other property brought onto the Park by visitors shall be at such visitor's own risk and Thorpe accepts no liability for the loss or damage to such property. Secure lockers are available upon request and subject to a nominal fee.
18. Sensible clothing and footwear must be worn at all times when in and about the Park. Please note that for health and safety reasons shirts and shoes must be worn on all rides at all times.
19. Vehicles are parked at owner’s risk.
19.1 THORPE PARK takes no responsibility for damage caused to any vehicle using the car park.
19.2 A parking fee applies, a ticket must be purchased prior to exit.
19.3 Any guest with a lost car park ticket will be required to purchase a new ticket at the full day rate.
19.4 You park at your own risk, we do not guarantee the security of your vehicle and/or its contents.
20. Where CCTV cameras are installed in any of our Car Park they are used to assist in the proper running of the Car Park. The CCTV cameras may also act as a deterrent to criminal activity. We are obliged by law to display signage in the Car Park advising that CCTV cameras are in operation. However, we do not make any representation as to the extent of coverage provided by the cameras and no guarantee is given as to the security of your vehicle in the car park.

 

These regulations are for the benefit of all visitors and will be strictly enforced.

Merlin Annual Pass

By purchasing one of the varieties of Merlin Annual Pass listed in clause 1 of these Terms and Conditions ("Annual Pass") you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions of use. Purchase and use of an Annual Pass is in accordance with the regulations of each individual Attraction, copies of which are displayed at each Attraction or can be obtained online at www.merlinannualpass.co.uk/terms, please ensure that you agree to be bound by these regulations before purchasing your Annual Pass.

MERLIN ANNUAL PASS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
AN ANNUAL PASS WILL ONLY BE VALID WHEN it is USED AND/OR PRESENTED BY THE NAMED HOLDER, it DISPLAYs A PHOTOGRAPH WHICH MUST BE A TRUE LIKENESS OF THE HOLDER and it is within the Validity Period (as defined in clause 7). PHOTOCOPIES OF an ANNUAL PASS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Any use of an annual pass in breach of these terms and conditions or the relevant attraction Regulations WILL RESULT IN THE ANNUAL PASS BEING revoked without compensation. For the avoidance of doubt, PASS SHARING IS a breach of these terms and conditions and ANY ATTEMPTed USE OF AN ANNUAL PASS BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE PHOTOGRAPHED AND NAMED Holder, REGARDLESS OF REASON, WILL RESULT IN THE annual PASS BEING REVOKED WITHOUT COMPENSATION TO THE holder.

1. The varieties of Annual Pass available for purchase are:
1.1 The Standard Merlin Annual Pass; and
1.2 The Premium Merlin Annual Pass.
1.3 The Standard Merlin Annual Pass and Premium Merlin Annual Pass may be purchased as an individual Annual Pass, a family Annual Pass or a disabled Annual Pass.
2. As specified below, these Terms and Conditions will apply differently to the various types of Annual Pass.
3. The Merlin Entertainments Group attractions that are part of the Annual Pass scheme are: Alton Towers Resort Theme Park, LEGOLAND® Windsor, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre (Manchester), THORPE PARK, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Madame Tussauds (London), the London Eye, Warwick Castle, SEA LIFE Centres " Sanctuaries based in the UK and the Dungeons based in the UK (“Attractions”).
4. Each Annual Pass holder will be issued his or her own Annual Pass and will be required to supply the following:
4.1 their first name and surname;
4.2 their date of birth;
4.3 their residential address;
4.4 a contact telephone number;
4.5 a contact email address (if they have one); and
4.6 a photograph which must be a true likeness of the holder.
5 Family Annual Pass options are as follows:
5.1 Family of 3 - consisting of either two individuals 12 years of age and over and one individual under 12 years of age, or one individual 12 years of age and over and two individuals under 12 years of age;
5.2 Family of 4 - consisting of either two individuals 12 years of age and over and two individuals under 12 years of age, or one individual 12 years of age and over and three individuals under 12 years of age; and
5.3 Family of 5 - consisting of either two individuals 12 years of age and over and three individuals under 12 years of age, or one individual 12 years of age and over and four individuals under 12 years of age.
5.4 Each family member will be issued with his or her own Annual Pass and, for the avoidance of doubt, will be required to supply the details listed in clause 4.
6. The purchaser of an Annual Pass must be 18 years or over.
7. An Annual Pass entitles the purchaser to admission to the Attractions for a period of 12 months from the date of issue (“Validity Period”) and is subject to the operating calendars of each Attraction and any applicable exclusion dates.
The ‘valid from’ and ‘valid until’ dates will be printed on the Annual Pass card when issued. Please check individual Attraction opening and closing dates before visit. Please note that not all Attractions are open all year.
8. Purchase of a Disabled Merlin Annual Pass (“Disabled Pass”) is subject to proof of disability for example by production of a doctor’s letter setting out the disability, proof of receipt of disability living allowance or a disabled parking badge. Disabled Pass holders are entitled to a free Carer Merlin Annual Pass (“Carer Pass”) which will be issued at the same time as the Disabled Pass. The Carer Pass may only be used by the designated carer when accompanying the Disabled Pass holder. Misuse of the Carer Pass will result in both the Disabled Pass and the Carer Pass being revoked without compensation. For the avoidance of doubt, Disabled Pass and Carer Pass holders will be required to supply the details listed in clause 4.
9. The Merlin Entertainments Group, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to vary the opening and closing dates of the Attractions and to close, remove or cancel all or any part of the rides, events or facilities within the Attractions for any reason including, but not being limited to technical, health and safety and/or operational reasons or due to special events or private functions. For the avoidance of doubt, the full value or any part of the value of the Annual Pass will not be refunded nor will any compensation be payable if any of the Attractions become unavailable or if any or part of any of the Attractions are closed or removed from the Annual Pass scheme.
10. An Annual Pass is only valid for daytime entry to Warwick Castle.
11. An Annual Pass is subject to additional charges for entry into:
11.1 any concerts taking place at the Attractions;
11.2 any themed and/or special events taking place at the Attractions;
11.3 secondary attractions at Warwick Castle including, but not limited to, the Castle Dungeon;
11.4 secondary attractions at Chessington World of Adventures Resort;
11.5 all Christmas event openings;
11.6 secondary attractions at Alton Towers Resort Theme Parks including, but not limited to, the Alton Towers Waterpark, Extraordinary Golf, Alton Towers Spa and Scarefest Mazes; and
11.7 any other event as determined by The Merlin Entertainments Group from time to time.
12. Restrictions and certain additional fees apply to the Standard Merlin Annual Pass only including, but not being limited to the following:
12.1 NO entry into Madame Tussauds (London), the London Eye, SEA LIFE London Aquarium and London Dungeon during the whole of August;
12.2 NO entry to the London Eye on 14 February and 29 October to 31 October;
12.3 NO entry to the London Dungeon from 29 October to 31 October;
12.4 NO entry to The Blackpool Tower attractions from 22 to 30 October;
12.5 NO entry to LEGOLAND® Windsor before 2pm during the month of August;
12.6 an event booking fee of £5 will apply to Fright Nights and other special events at THORPE PARK regardless of the time of entry or departure; and
12.7 parking fees at the Attractions.
For the avoidance of doubt, the restrictions and additional fees set out in this clause 12 do not apply to the Premium Merlin Annual Pass.
13. An Annual Pass is only valid for standard London Eye tickets. An Annual Pass may not be used for any of the following (without limitation):
13.1 admission on to the London Eye River Cruise;
13.2 fast track tickets;
13.3 pre-booked capsules;
13.4 private capsules;
13.5 civil ceremonies or weddings;
13.6 champagne experience;
13.7 themed seasonal tickets; or
13.8 packages, such as restaurant, hotels, theatre and combination tickets.
14. To use an Annual Pass, the authorised holder must show it at the admissions office, turnstile or other authorised entry point of the relevant Attraction.
15. All Annual Passes remain the property of The Merlin Entertainments Group and can be withdrawn at any time. Annual Passes are non-transferable and cannot be sold, loaned or given away to or used by a third party. Access will be denied to any or all Attractions in the event of fraud or misuse of the Annual Pass, and the Annual Pass will be withdrawn from any person whose conduct is deemed to be inappropriate in the absolute discretion of The Merlin Entertainments Group.  Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to, allowing or assisting a third party to attempt to gain unauthorised or improper access to any Attraction with an Annual Pass of which they are not the valid holder. For the avoidance of doubt no refund will be given in such circumstances.
16. An Annual Pass that is discovered to have been purchased through illegal methods will be revoked without compensation.
17. Possession of an Annual Pass does not guarantee entry to the Attractions. The management of the relevant Attraction reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason as provided by each Attraction’s regulations including, but not being limited to, the Attraction reaching full capacity.
18. Possession or use of the Annual Pass does not guarantee immediate entry to any Attraction during peak times.
19. Entry to an Attraction by use of an Annual Pass will not be permitted in the event that a valid Annual Pass cannot be presented for any reason, including, but not being limited to, the Annual Pass being lost, stolen or forgotten. Failure to present a valid Annual Pass will result in a charge of the “on the day” admission rate applicable to the relevant Attraction, which will be non-refundable. Re-entry to the same Attraction on the same day requires a hand stamp.
20. A lost, stolen and/or damaged Annual Pass should be reported to The Merlin Entertainments Group through the Attraction that issued the Annual Pass immediately. Contact details for each Attraction can be found on the Merlin Annual Pass website (www.merlinannualpass.co.uk).
21. In the event of a lost, stolen and/or damaged Annual Pass, The Merlin Entertainments Group will re-issue a replacement Annual Pass.  Up to three replacement Annual Passes can be issued during the Validity Period. Replacement Annual Passes will only be issued at the original issuing Attraction to the individual whose details have been provided in accordance with clause 4. An administration fee of £10 will be charged for the re-issue of each lost or damaged Annual Pass. The re-issue of stolen Annual Passes will also be subject to the £10 re-issue fee unless the holder can provide the Merlin Entertainments Group with a relevant crime reference number when requesting that the Annual Pass is re-issued.
22. Unless stated otherwise, an Annual Pass cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer, voucher or advance booking or with any other offer, discount or retail/restaurant incentive.
23. Refunds are not available in any circumstances. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. 
24. Once an Annual Pass reaches its expiry date the holder will qualify for a reduced renewal rate provided that he or she renews their Annual Pass within 8 weeks of expiry and are able to present their expired card when making the renewal. The new pass’ Validity Period will commence on the ‘valid until’ date of the expired pass.
25. An Annual Pass that is not renewed within 8 weeks of expiration will no longer qualify for the renewal rate and the full price of a new pass will be chargeable.
26. Annual Passes can be used up to and including the ‘valid until’ date.
27. The Merlin Entertainments Group is entitled to use Annual Pass holder’s details to contact them in relation to service information, including, but not being limited to, information about changes to these Terms and Conditions of use, expiry and/or renewal reminders. The Merlin Entertainments Group will not use Annual Pass holder’s details for marketing purposes unless that Annual Pass holder has opted in to receive such information at the time of purchasing the Annual Pass.
28. The Merlin Entertainments Group is entitled, in its absolute discretion, to change the price payable for its Annual Pass at any time and for any reason and may from time to time offer pricing or promotional offers at specific Attractions, online, via telephone or through third party channels.
29. The Merlin Entertainments Group reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions by giving Annual Pass holders no less than 30 days’ written notice of such variation by using the details provided in accordance with clause 4.
30. n the presentation of an Annual Pass, Annual Pass holders may receive discounts and/or benefits from third parties. Such third parties are subject to change. The Merlin Entertainments Group is entitled to remove and/or withdraw any or all third party discounts and/or benefits in its absolute discretion at any time and for any reason.
31. Visitors under 12 years of age to The Alton Towers Resort and Theme Park, THORPE PARK, Warwick Castle and Chessington World of Adventures Resort and visitors under 16 years of age to LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester, Madame Tussauds (London) and the Dungeons must be accompanied, at all times, by an individual aged 16 years or over. Visitors under 16 years of age to the London Eye must be accompanied, at all times, by an individual aged 18 years or over. Visitors under 14 years of age to LEGOLAND® Windsor must be accompanied, at all times, by a person aged 16 years or over.
32. Visitors under 1 metre in height may enter Chessington World of Adventures Resort and THORPE PARK free of charge.  Visitors under 3 years of age may enter LEGOLAND® Windsor, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre (Manchester) and SEA LIFE Centres free of charge. Visitors under 4 years of age may enter Alton Towers Resort and Theme Park, Warwick Castle, Madame Tussauds (London) and the Dungeons free of charge. Visitors under 4 years of age may enter the London Eye free of charge.
33. Height, weight, size and age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions. Some rides at LEGOLAND® Windsor will require visitors who only just meet the minimum height requirements to be accompanied by a person aged 16 years or over.

THORPE PARK Annual Pass

By purchasing a THORPE PARK Annual Pass you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions of use. Purchase and use of an Annual Pass is in accordance with the regulations of THORPE PARK, a copy of which is displayed at the attraction or can be obtained online at THORPEPARK.com, please ensure that you agree to be bound by the regulations before purchasing your THORPE PARK Annual Pass.

THORPE PARK ANNUAL PASS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

THE ANNUAL PASS WILL ONLY BE VALID WHEN IT IS USED AND/OR PRESENTED BY THE NAMED HOLDER, IT DISPLAYS A PHOTOGRAPH WHICH MUST BE A TRUE LIKENESS OF THE HOLDER AND IT IS WITHIN THE VALIDITY PERIOD (AS DEFINED IN CLAUSE 4). ANY USE OF AN ANNUAL PASS IN BREACH OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR THE THORPE PARK REGULATIONS WILL RESULT IN THE ANNUAL PASS BEING REVOKED WITHOUT COMPENSATION. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, PASS SHARING IS A BREACH OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND ANY ATTEMPTED USE OF AN ANNUAL PASS BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE PHOTOGRAPHED AND NAMED HOLDER, REGARDLESS OF REASON, WILL RESULT IN THE ANNUAL PASS BEING REVOKED WITHOUT COMPENSATION TO THE HOLDER.

1. The varieties of THORPE PARK Annual Pass available for purchase are:
1.1 The THORPE PARK Annual Pass
The THORPE PARK Annual Pass may only be purchased as an individual Annual Pass.
2. Each Annual Pass holder will be issued his or her own Annual Pass and will be required to supply the following:

Disabled Pass holders are entitled to a free Carer THORPE PARK Annual Pass (“Carer Pass”) which will be issued at the same time as the Disabled Pass. The Carer Pass may only be used by the designated carer when accompanying the Disabled Pass holder. Misuse of the Carer Pass will result in both the Disabled Pass and the Carer Pass being revoked without compensation. For the avoidance of doubt, Disabled Pass and Carer Pass holders will be required to supply the details listed in clause 2.
6. THORPE PARK, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to vary the opening and closing dates of the Attraction and to close, remove of cancel all or any part of the rides, events or facilities within the attraction for any reason, including, but not being limited to technical, health and safety and/or operational reasons, or due to special events or private functions. For the avoidance of doubt, the full value or any part of the value of the Annual Pass will not be refunded nor will any compensation be payable if any of the rides or attractions become unavailable or if any part of any of the rides and attractions are closed or removed.
7. An Annual Pass is subject to additional charges for entry into:
7.1 any concerts taking place at THORPE PARK
7.2 any themed and/or special events taking place at THORPE PARK
7.3 all Christmas event openings;
7.4 any other event as determined by The Merlin Entertainments Group from time to time.
8. Restrictions and certain additional fees apply to the THORPE PARK Pass including, but not being limited to the following;
8.1 an event booking fee of £5 will apply to Fright Nights and other special events at THORPE PARK regardless of the time of entry or departure;
8.2 parking fees at THORPE PARK
8.3 fast track tickets
9. To use an Annual Pass, the authorised holder must show it at the admissions turnstiles at THORPE PARK
10. All Annual Passes remain the property of THORPE PARK and can be withdrawn at any time. Annual Passes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be sold, loaned or given away to or used by a third party. Access will be denied to THORPE PARK in the event of fraud or misuse of the Annual Pass, and the Annual Pass will be withdrawn from any person whose conduct is deemed to be inappropriate in the absolute discretion of THORPE PARK. Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to, allowing or assisting a third party to attempt to gain unauthorised or improper access to THORPE PARK with an Annual Pass of which they are not the valid holder. For the avoidance of doubt no refund will be given in such circumstances.
11. An Annual Pass that is discovered to have been purchased through illegal methods will be revoked without compensation.
12. Possession or use of the Annual Pass does not guarantee entry to THORPE PARK. The management of THORPE PARK reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason as provided by THORPE PARK’s regulations including, but not being limited to, THORPE PARK reaching full capacity.
13. Possession or use of the Annual Pass does not guarantee immediate entry or priority entry to THORPE PARK.
14. Entry to THORPE PARK by use of an Annual Pass will not be permitted in the event that a valid Annual Pass cannot be presented for any reason, including, but not being limited to, the Annual Pass being lost, stolen, damaged or forgotten. Failure to present a valid Annual Pass will result in a charge of the “on the day” admissions rate, which will be non-refundable. Re-entry to THORPE PARK on the same day requires a hand stamp.
15. A lost, stolen and/or damaged Annual Pass should be reported to THORPE PARK immediately. Contact details for THORPE PARK can be found on the THORPE PARK website.
16. In the event of a lost, stolen and/or damaged Annual Pass, THORPE PARK will re-issue a replacement Annual Pass. Up to three replacement Annual Passes can be issued during the Validity Period. Replacement Annual Passes will only be issued at THORPE PARK to the individual whose details have been provided in accordance with clause 2. An administration fee of £10 will be charged for the re-issue of each Annual Pass. The re-issue of stolen Annual Passes will also be subject to the £10 re-issue fee unless the holder can provide THORPE PARK with a relevant crime reference number when requesting that the Annual Pass is re-issued.
17. Unless stated otherwise, an Annual Pass cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer, voucher or advance booking or with any other offer, discount or retail/restaurant incentive.
18. Refunds are not available in any circumstances. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
19. Once an Annual Pass reaches its expiry date the holder will qualify for a reduced renewal rate provided that he or he or she renews their Annual Pass within 8 weeks of expiry and are able to present their expired card when making the renewal. The ‘validity period’ of the new pass will commence on the ‘valid until’ date of the expired pass.
20. An Annual Pass that is not renewed within 8 weeks of expiration will no longer qualify for the renewal rate and the full price of a new pass will be chargeable.
21. Annual Passes can be used up to and including the ‘valid until’ date.
22. THORPE PARK and The Merlin Entertainments Group is entitled to use Annual Pass holder’s details to contact them in relation to service information, including, but not being limited to, information about changes to these Terms and Conditions of use, expiry and/or renewal reminders. The Merlin Entertainments Group and THORPE PARK will not use Annual Pass holder’s details for marketing purposes unless that Annual Pass holder has opted in to receive such information at the time of purchasing the Annual Pass.
23. THORPE PARK is entitled, in its absolute discretion, to change the price payable for its Annual Pass at any time and for any reason and may from time to time offer pricing and promotional offers at THORPE PARK, online, via telephone or through third party channels.
24. THORPE PARK reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions by giving Annual Pass holders no less than 30 days written notice of such variation by using details as provided in accordance with clause 2.
25. On the presentation of an Annual Pass, holders may receive discounts and/or benefits from third parties. Such third parties are subject to change.
26. Visitors under 12 years of age to THORPE PARK must be accompanied at all times by an individual aged 18 or over.
27. Visitors under 1 metre in height may enter THORPE PARK free of charge.
28. Height, weight, size and age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions.

2. If a timeslot has passed, please speak to a rides host at the ride or attraction.

4. Rides and attractions are subject to availability.
5. If a ride is closed for the day you purchase your ticket, a replacement ride will be made available.
6. If the ticket gets wet take it to a Fastrack & Information unit with your receipt.
7. Chest, height & age restrictions apply on all rides and attractions.

Ultimate Fastrack
1. Ultimate Fastrack is for one guest only and can not be transferred between guests.
2. You must have a wristband and ticket to access the rides, which must be shown to staff at the attractions to be able to board.
3. The wristband and ticket can only be used on the day of purchase.
4. The wristband must be securely attached to the guests wrist at all times.
5. Fastrack tickets are non-refundable, transferable or replaceable if lost.
6. If the wristband becomes lose or tears off then take it to a Fastrack & Information unit with your receipt.
