ISLAND RETURN GUARANTEE

If weather affects the ride offering an hour or more continuously during your visit, you can return for free on selected dates. Only applicable on online pre-booked entry tickets.

My day was affected on 25th October 2019 or 2nd November 2019, what do I do?

You don't need to book again, just keep hold of your original tickets and bring them with you on one of the return visit dates below.

You are welcome to return for free during any date during the 2020 season (excluding FRIGHT NIGHTS and pre-advertised closed dates as outlined on our website).

Just show your original tickets at the Admissions Ticket Desk and they'll transfer the ticket to the correct date.

Due to the impact of ride closures on these specific dates (25.10.2019 and 02.11.2019) all theme park entry ticket types are eligible for this return.

Please check the resort opening times on our website to confirm the resort is open on the day you are aiming to visit.

THORPE PARK Season Passholders and Merlin Annual Passholders will be entitled to one Priority Ride Pass each to access one attraction via the fastrack entrance on their next visit.

This has to be collected from Island Help and Information on the day of your chosen Island Return visit.

Should the weather impact your return visit, tickets will not be transferable and you will not be entitled to a further Island Return Guarantee.

No cash alternative is available, tickets cannot be sold.

The Island Return Guarantee cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Are you an annual or season passholder?

THORPE PARK Annual Passholders and Merlin Annual Passholders will be entitled to one Priority Ride Pass each to queue jump one attraction on their next visit.

This has to be collected from Island Help and Information on the day that our Island Return Guarantee is activated.

Terms & Conditions

The Island Return Guarantee excludes the following ticket types:
Car Park tickets, Accommodation (including THORPE SHARK Hotel stays), Fastrack, Bounceback or VIP Experience tickets, any THORPE PARK Resort or Merlin Annual Passes visits, Schools, pre-organised events, corporate discounted tickets, park buy-outs, Merlin's Magic Wand tickets, open dated tickets, two day open-dated tickets, 1 Day Tickets purchased on the day of your visit, tickets purchased using third party reward loyalty points and pre-booked coach trips.

Should it rain on your return visit, tickets will not be transferable and you will not be entitled to a further Island Return Guarantee.

Latest information regarding Coronavirus

Further to recent updates from the Government on the response to the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak, we have taken the very difficult decision to close Thorpe Park Resort until further notice.

Have a short break booked when the Resort is closed?
Following the latest Government guidelines (issued on 10th May), and given the continued uncertainty about when we will be able to reopen, we are now asking guests with short breaks booked between 1st June up to and including 3rd July to move your booking free of charge (subject to availability). Please visit the Manage My Booking site to rearrange your booking.

Have a Park ticket pre-booked when the Resort is closed?
If you have booked a ticket to visit Thorpe Park Resort during the closure period your ticket will be valid for use on any date during the 2020 season (excluding FRIGHT NIGHTS and pre-advertised closed dates as outlined on our website). Further information for guests with pre-booked and promotional tickets will be published on our website prior to opening.
