2019 Opening Day Tips

With opening day a little over two weeks away, we want to give you a head start to the season with some tips that you can use on the day and throughout the year!

Plan Your Journey

As theme parks go, Thorpe Park is really easy to get to! There’s an option for every journey, just make sure you plan your journey in advance to avoid disruption to your day.  

 

By Car

Thorpe Park Resort is within easy reach of London. From the M25 take junctions 11 or 13* and follow A320 to THORPE PARK.

By Train

Our closest stations are Staines and Chertsey, both of which serve London Waterloo, about 30 minutes away. Staines also has connections to Windsor, Reading Weybridge and many other South West locations.

By Bus

We have a dedicated shuttle bus. The blue 950 THORPE PARK Express Bus departs directly from Staines Railway Station, running every 15-20 minutes and will also stop by stand 2 at Staines Bus station before driving directly to THORPE PARK Resort.

You can also get several buses to Thorpe Park from Staines Bus Station (Elmsleigh Shopping Centre), which is a 5 minute walk from Staines Railway Station. 

By Bike

For the super healthy thrill seeker, why not bike to Thorpe? There are several local cycle routes which will bring you right to our front gates!

By Plane

We are just 20 minutes from Heathrow airport, so perfect for those further afield and international travellers!

Get The Best Deal

Book online…seriously. Booking online means that you will have you e-ticket IN HAND and can march straight through the turnstiles when you arrive!

Also, booking in advance instantly knocks £23 off the price of a day ticket and it’s the same as far as parking is concerned. £10 on the day compared to £7 online! Paying for your parking before you arrive will also save you time at the end of the day.

Of course, with a Season Pass and Season Car Parking Pass, you won’t need to worry about either of those ;)
