- Fright Nights, Thorpe Park, Home of Fear!
This Fright Nights, the fear starts before you even reach the park...
For one night only, on Saturday 3 October, Thorpe Park is taking Fright Nights beyond the park gates for the first time in its 25-year history.
The Nova Lux Express will take thrill-seekers from Staines Railway Station to Thorpe Park on a near pitch-black journey that extends the story of brand-new scare maze Tenement beyond the park.
But only a select few will get the chance to board.
To ride, you'll need a valid Fright Nights entry ticket and Tenement maze ticket for 3 October, then head to Staines Railway Station and queue for your chance to board.
With just 14 passengers per journey, places are available on a first come, first served basis, so you'll need to be quick.
And this isn't just any bus journey...
Dare to take the journey
Once on board the Nova Lux Express, you'll be plunged into near darkness as you make your way from Staines Railway Station towards Thorpe Park.
But as the bus disappears into the darkness, you'll begin to learn more about the abandoned care home at the heart of Tenement. You're the latest batch of electricians sent in to fix a persistent power problem.
The last crew lost contact with the outside world days ago. Now, it's your turn. You know where you're going. You just don't know what you'll encounter along the way...
From Staines to Thorpe Park
The Nova Lux Express will run on Saturday 3 October only, with journeys departing from Staines Railway Station every hour from 2pm until 5pm.
Each journey can carry just 14 passengers, with places available on a first come, first served basis.
To ride, you'll need to have already purchased:
- A valid Thorpe Park Fright Nights ticket for 3 October
- A Tenement maze ticket for 3 October
Simply show proof of your tickets when you arrive at the station and, if you're one of the lucky few, you'll be boarding the Nova Lux Express.
Each journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
The story starts before Tenement
The Nova Lux Express is the first taste of Tenement, Thorpe Park's first fully immersive, pitch-black scare maze.
At the heart of the experience lies Nova Lux Senior Living, an abandoned care home where the power is dead, the tenants have vanished and something is getting closer.
Inside Tenement, you'll be challenged to navigate the darkness with only a failing shared handheld light to guide you. Every flicker could reveal something lurking nearby.
But the story doesn't start when you enter the maze... It starts the moment you step onto the bus. By the time you reach Thorpe Park, you'll already be part of the story.
Then face Fright Nights
Once you arrive at Thorpe Park, the Nova Lux Express is only the beginning.
Fright Nights returns for its 25th anniversary on selected dates from 2 October to 1 November 2026, with four fearsome scare mazes, terrifying scare zones, live entertainment and some of the UK's biggest rollercoasters after dark.
Alongside brand-new maze Tenement, you'll be able to face returning favourites including:
- Trailers, featuring a new screening, Blood Red Roses
- Stitches, where Howell's Toy Emporium welcomes some new additions to its creepy collection
- Survival Games, where shifting pathways, assassins and brutal obstacles stand between you and escape
- DeadBeat, where an underground nightclub gets closer to the creatures lurking in the shadows
Beyond the mazes, explore Purgatory Town, encounter the inhabitants of The Crows, and witness the Lord of Darkness in Lucifer's Lair.
You can also catch Creature Campus: Reunion Reckoning, while the Rebel Ball, sponsored by Fanta, takes over The Launch Pad with music, dance and fire performances.
And once the sun goes down, the rides come alive, with Hyperia, THE SWARM, SAW – The Ride, Stealth and Nemesis Inferno all waiting in the darkness.
